Hi! I’m Irene Kuperus, a Grand Valley Film & Video grad specializing in video editing. My love for filmmaking started early, forcing my dad and cousins into recording scrappy skits on my home computer. That early excitement has never faded. Working as a teaching assistant deepened my love for sharing knowledge and collaborating with others, and through years of hands-on (and in-office) experience, I’ve refined my technical skills and expanded into professional client editing.

Every day in this industry reminds me that my younger self was right; work doesn’t feel like work when you love what you do. As I continue growing, I’m excited to take on projects that challenge me, connect me with talented creatives, and keep me fully immersed in authentic storytelling. I’m eager to keep developing as an editor, whether in commercial or narrative work, while learning from experienced professionals and refining my craft. My goal is to build a career where I get to create compelling, meaningful stories that resonate with all kinds of people!
